Establishment of the sole proprietorship SOTIRIA MAVIDOU for the purpose of producing-bottling sugared fruit juices - lemon juice for cooking - soft drinks, etc. in Thessaloniki
Relocation to privately owned plot of land in Vasilika, Thessaloniki
The activity of producing - bottling vinegar is added while there is intense export activity growth
The production of plastic bottles and caps begins, to enhance the company’s bottling department
Installation and implementation of certified ISO systems (9001 & 22000)
The building extension is completed, the production-storage spaces cover 1400m2 At the same time, new mechanical equipment is introduced to the bottling department and plastics department, and the production of moulds and PET bottles begins. The enterprise receives the Exports Award following a competition by the Thessaloniki Chamber of Handicrafts
Intergrate to IFS Standard
The R&D department of the company is created, leading to the development of 12 flavours of balsamic cream
The Galaxy export network is broadened to 12 countries.
The mustard production plant is completed and production starts on Galaxy premium mustard in a PET container. The goal of reducing plastic is achieved, by reducing the weight throughout the production of PET moulds & vinegar-lemon juice bottles, thus using up to 30 tons less plastic annually
The installation and start up of the solar power plant is carried out. The export network is expanding to 22 countries.

In May 2022, the investment in the plastics production department was completed, resulting in the reduction in weight of the lemon & vinegar bottles, thus saving up to 30 tons of plastic annually

Our company’s contributions to the recycling system until February 2022 match the data of the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation SA

The target for 2023 is the construction of a photovoltaic system for autoproduction and energy saving

    • 2015: The Balsamic Cream & Balsamic Cream with Orange products are awarded the superior taste award (2 stars) by ITQI
    • 2016: The Lemon Cream (1 star), Balsamic Cream with Fig, and Balsamic Cream with Pomegranate products (2 stars) are awarded the superior taste award
    • 2018: Production of the BBQ sauce commences and the product receives the superior taste award (2 stars) later that year
    • 2021: Galaxy mustard (Dijon) receives superior taste award (2 stars)
    • 2022: ITI awards Galaxy premium mustard with the superior taste award (2 stars)
    • 2024: . For the 2nd year, the fig balsamic cream (2 stars) and the pomegranate balsamic cream (1 star) receive a Superior Taste Award from ITI.
